- Develop scenario-based forecasts for 2026+ market landscapes and competitive landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on future vision and priorities
- Produce thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynotes) positioning Horizon as a futurist authority
- Identify disruptive technologies and partnerships for early-mover advantage
- Advise product teams on future-proofing solutions and emerging user needs
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, climate tech)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations and thought leadership
- Experience with scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Portfolio of published futurist work or strategic foresight projects
