Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive technologies and societal megatrends through 2030
- Design scenario-planning models for climate adaptation, AI governance, and workforce transformation
- Lead strategic workshops with global stakeholders to co-create future-proof business models
- Author annual 'Future State' reports for Fortune 500 clients on 2026 market implications
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Quantify future risk/reward scenarios using predictive analytics and simulation tools
- Drive innovation pipeline initiatives with 20% of resources allocated to moonshot projects
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent with 5+ years applied experience
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenario work for Fortune 500 companies or governments
- Expertise in trend analysis tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Proven ability to translate complex future insights into executable business strategies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI development)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or Finland Futures Research Centre)
- Experience leading cross-cultural teams across 3+ continents with distributed stakeholder ecosystems
