Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic, technological, and sociocultural trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026-2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, bio-convergence)
- Lead strategic innovation sprints with R&D and product teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Author high-impact thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global forums
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Advise executive leadership on long-term strategic pivots and market positioning
- Manage a $5M innovation fund for experimental 2026-focused initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Foresight, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven track record of publishing trend analysis in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic implementation of future-vision initiatives
- Experience with cross-cultural futures analysis and global trend mapping
