Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions to forecast 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic plans for C-suite executives across AI, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into R&D and product development cycles
- Author white papers and trend reports that position Horizon Dynamics as a thought leader
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify disruptive startups and investment opportunities
- Design and maintain Horizon's 2026 Strategic Horizon Scanning Framework
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic frameworks
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences and public speaking experience
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight.org)
