Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy targeting 2026-2030 market disruption
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Build strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and research institutions
- Present technology roadmaps to executive leadership and investment committees
- Author thought leadership pieces for industry publications and conferences
- Manage $10M+ innovation budget with rigorous ROI tracking
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI development, or biotech
- Experience with futures methodologies (scenario planning, horizon scanning)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global tech ecosystems
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Certification in innovation management or technology foresight preferred
