You'll lead cross-functional initiatives and represent our company at global tech summits.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum AI, neural interfaces, synthetic biology) to inform strategic roadmaps
- Develop predictive models for market disruption and competitive positioning
- Lead scenario planning workshops for 2026 technology adoption curves
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic frameworks to investors and board members
- Author thought leadership reports published in IEEE and Nature journals
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio for moonshot projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurology with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in forecasting technology adoption (e.g., AI, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic systems
- Executive-level presentation skills with Fortune 500 experience
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier tech publications
- Proficiency in strategic foresight frameworks (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Experience managing innovation labs or R&D budgets >$3M
