What You'll Achieve:
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology foresight framework
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech
- Establish strategic partnerships with NASA, MIT Media Lab, and EU Horizon 2030
- Drive innovation culture through internal think tanks and external trend reports
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (Web4.0, Neuro-interfaces, Climate AI) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop scenario-planning models for 2026 technological inflection points
- Present strategic recommendations to executive board and investors
- Lead a 15-person innovation lab with $5M annual R&D budget
- Author quarterly 'FutureTech Briefs' distributed to Fortune 500 partners
- Coordinate with UN Sustainable Development Goals tech task force
- Oversee patent strategy for breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with Fortune 100 or Silicon Valley unicorns
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized AI
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Spectrum, MIT Tech Review, or equivalent
- Experience leading international tech foresight initiatives
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., from foresight.org)
