Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and market trends to forecast industry shifts through 2030
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology radar system with quarterly impact assessments
- Design strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives and market disruption potential
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into product development priorities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for collaborative R&D initiatives
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling visualizations
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology trends and their business implications
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology, Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing future scenarios and translating them into commercial strategies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their disruptive potential across industries
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information from diverse sources
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous strategic transformations
- Portfolio demonstrating published future forecasts or technology trend analyses
