Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop error mitigation techniques to enhance qubit stability in 100+ qubit systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum software solutions for enterprise clients
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Contribute to quantum hardware-software co-design initiatives with Intel and Rigetti partners
- Mentor junior researchers and PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Present findings at global conferences including IEEE Quantum Week and Q2B
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and classical frameworks (Python, TensorFlow)
- Published work in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Hands-on experience with quantum annealing or superconducting qubit systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Expertise in high-performance computing (HPC) and parallel processing
- Proven ability to secure research grants (NSF, DOE, or industry partners)
