Responsibilities
- Architect and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and disruptive innovation
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum algorithms, neural interfaces, climate AI)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for bleeding-edge research
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify paradigm-shifting technologies (Web4, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategies for emerging tech domains
- Present visionary blueprints to investors, board members, and global tech summits
- Mentor innovation labs focused on solving 2030 societal challenges
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- 12+ years in strategic tech leadership with portfolio of launched innovations
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies (Nature/IEEE/MIT journals)
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech verticals: quantum, neurotech, climate AI
- Proven ability to secure >$10M in R&D funding for futuristic initiatives
- Track record of scaling global tech teams across 3+ continents
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, trend analysis)
- Fluency in Mandarin and Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
