Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and medical procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests
- Administer medications and immunizations under physician guidance
- Maintain accurate patient records and electronic health documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure exam room readiness
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility for weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
