Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Define the high-level system architecture for the 2026 Initiative, ensuring scalability, security, and performance standards are met.
- Technical Strategy: Collaborate with C-suite executives and product managers to translate business goals into technical roadmaps and actionable development plans.
- Code Governance: Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines to ensure maintainability across distributed teams.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor senior engineers and lead code reviews, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- System Optimization: Analyze system bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve throughput and reduce latency in real-time data processing.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps, Security, and Data Science teams to integrate new technologies seamlessly into existing workflows.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a Lead Architect or Senior Engineering role.
- Core Technologies: Proficiency in Python, Rust, Go, and cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Architecture: Deep expertise in microservices architecture, distributed systems, and event-driven design patterns.
- Tools: Strong command of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex scalability challenges in high-traffic environments.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
