Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, biotech, and sustainable energy
- Produce strategic whitepapers and scenario-planning frameworks for executive decision-making
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academic partners, and industry disruptors
- Present findings to investors and board members using compelling data visualization
- Drive R&D initiatives targeting 2026 market gaps and technological inflection points
- Mentor junior futurists while establishing thought leadership through keynote speeches and publications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite technology leadership
- Proven track record of developing multi-year future-focused roadmaps with measurable ROI
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) and their societal impacts
- Strong proficiency in scenario planning tools (STEEP analysis, Delphi method, cross-impact matrices)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field required
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience with AI-driven trend analysis platforms (e.g., GPT-4 research, Palantir)
