Responsibilities
- Architect and prototype next-generation Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) software stacks.
- Optimize neural transmission latency and data throughput for real-time cognitive augmentation.
- Collaborate with neurosurgeons to refine hardware-software integration protocols.
- Establish ethical frameworks for brain-data privacy and consent management.
- Lead a cross-functional team of engineers in the development of AR-BCI hybrid environments.
- Conduct rigorous stress-testing on neural pathways to ensure user safety and stability.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Neuroscience, Computer Science, or Cognitive Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in Brain-Computer Interface development or advanced Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).
- Deep expertise in Python, C++, and Rust, specifically within low-latency environments.
- Proven track record of publishing research in the field of neural engineering or AI ethics.
- Experience with wearable neurotechnology and EEG signal processing.
- Strong understanding of cognitive load and user experience design for immersive technologies.
