Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service to Oakland residents via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Resolve inquiries related to municipal services, utilities, and local programs
- Maintain detailed records in CRM systems with 99% accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex community needs
- Participate in community outreach initiatives and local events
- Identify process improvements to enhance resident satisfaction
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years customer service experience in a local government or community setting
- Proficiency in bilingual communication (English/Spanish highly valued)
- Expertise with CRM software (Salesforce experience a plus)
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
