Responsibilities
- Handle inbound/outbound calls and digital inquiries from Oakland residents with professionalism
- Resolve customer concerns using problem-solving techniques and empathy
- Accurately document interactions in CRM systems while maintaining data integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate complex issues
- Act as community ambassador by providing relevant local resources
- Meet performance metrics for call quality and resolution efficiency
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and service skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 6 months customer service or retail experience preferred
- Strong written/verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
- Basic computer navigation skills (typing 30+ WPM)
- Valid California driver's license (if field visits required)
