Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures during overnight shifts
- Administer medications and treatments under provider supervision
- Document patient encounters accurately in EHR systems
- Perform vital sign monitoring and basic lab tests
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain sterile environments
- Coordinate patient care between departments
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Ability to work Saturdays, Sundays, and overnight shifts
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
