Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care during assigned night and weekend shifts
- Monitor patient vital signs and document medical records accurately
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and maintain patient safety protocols
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during critical hours
- Participate in shift handovers and maintain clear communication channels
Qualifications
- Current Illinois RN/LPN license or CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year experience in acute care or emergency setting
- BLS/CPR certification (ACLS preferred for RN positions)
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and night shifts
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Valid Illinois driver's license may be required for facility travel
