Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital signs monitoring and basic assistance with daily activities
- Assist with patient mobility, positioning, and transfer techniques
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Support clinical staff with equipment preparation and room turnover
- Maintain clean, organized patient areas and treatment spaces
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity of care
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare or direct patient care experience
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to changing schedules
- Basic computer proficiency with EHR systems
