Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning frameworks for 2026-era applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and AI specialists in prototyping quantum neural networks
- Develop error-correction protocols for hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech researchers on quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Secure DARPA and NSF grants for experimental quantum-AI initiatives
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and NeurIPS conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Machine Learning (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Publication record in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum/AI conferences
- Expertise in quantum error mitigation and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong Python/C++ skills with high-performance computing background
