Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures with 1000+ qubit capabilities
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for industrial-grade fault tolerance
- Create hybrid quantum-classical workflows for pharmaceutical simulation and materials science
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Establish quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography systems
- Optimize quantum algorithms for energy efficiency and computational speed
- Partner with academic institutions to publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction techniques
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and thermal management systems
- Track record of publishing in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience leading quantum hardware development projects with $10M+ budgets
- Familiarity with superconducting, photonic, and trapped-ion quantum systems
