Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for 2026-era threats
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization and simulation
- Collaborate with cryogenic engineering teams on qubit stabilization
- Drive quantum software stack integration with classical systems
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite and government partners
- Mentor quantum engineers in error correction methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture design
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Expertise in superconducting qubit systems or topological qubits
- Strong background in quantum machine learning algorithms
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
- Experience with quantum-classical hybrid computing paradigms
