Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic qubits
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum gate operations
- Create quantum algorithms for cryptography, materials science, and optimization problems
- Present architectural blueprints to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Stay current with breakthroughs in quantum decoherence mitigation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience with quantum circuit design and simulation tools
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience leading technical teams in high-stakes projects
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Certification in quantum systems architecture (e.g., IBM Qiskit Professional)
