Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop error-correction protocols achieving >99.9% fidelity for commercial quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams integrating quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows
- Establish quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography applications
- Author technical whitepapers and patents advancing quantum computational theory
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize cryogenic control systems
- Advise C-suite on quantum technology roadmaps and implementation strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware architecture
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerance
- Experience leading technical teams of 10+ researchers
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical implementations
