Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems with fault-tolerant protocols
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Develop quantum error correction techniques for practical deployment
- Collaborate with industry partners to solve real-world quantum computing challenges
- Publish research in top-tier quantum computing journals and conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience leading technical teams and managing complex projects
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and computational complexity
- Certification in quantum computing from recognized institutions preferred
