Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error correction protocols achieving 99.99% fidelity for commercial quantum processors
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams integrating quantum algorithms with classical high-performance computing
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical systems for enterprise applications in finance and logistics
- Establish industry standards for quantum-safe cryptography and post-quantum security frameworks
- Drive R&D initiatives in topological qubits and quantum machine learning accelerators
- Mentor quantum engineers and publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation and cryogenic engineering
- Proven track record architecting fault-tolerant quantum systems with >100 qubits
- Strong background in quantum machine learning and variational algorithms
