Responsibilities
- Architect quantum computing systems with 100+ qubit fault-tolerant capabilities by 2026
- Design hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for pharmaceutical and materials science applications
- Develop error-correction protocols achieving 99.9% gate fidelity
- Create quantum algorithm libraries for optimization problems in logistics and finance
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Establish strategic partnerships with quantum hardware manufacturers and cloud providers
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (minimum 3 papers)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with cryogenic systems and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Track record of delivering quantum computing prototypes for commercial applications
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ limitations
