Responsibilities
- Design quantum circuit architectures for cryptographic and optimization applications
- Develop error mitigation protocols for NISQ-era quantum processors
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum acceleration into machine learning pipelines
- Lead quantum-resistant security protocol implementation for 2026 infrastructure
- Research novel quantum algorithms with 100+ qubit feasibility
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in Qiskit and Q# development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Proficiency in Python/C++ for quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Familiarity with quantum hardware constraints (superconducting, trapped ion)
- Security clearance for government quantum projects preferred
- Experience with quantum machine learning frameworks
