Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting qubits and topological quantum systems
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum error correction protocols
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate quantum processors with classical computing systems
- Establish quantum security frameworks for next-generation communication networks
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing frameworks and publish research findings
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation in quantum software development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical HPC frameworks
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Demonstrated ability to publish peer-reviewed research in quantum computing
- Strong background in cryptography and information theory
- Experience leading technical teams and managing R&D projects
