Responsibilities
- Architect quantum computing systems leveraging superconducting qubits and topological error correction
- Design fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and engineers in quantum hardware-software integration
- Develop quantum security protocols resistant to 2026-era cyber threats
- Establish quantum cloud infrastructure with 99.999% uptime SLAs
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to implement quantum solutions in finance, healthcare, and logistics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or superconducting systems
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning and NISQ-era limitations
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Security clearance or willingness to obtain DoD-level clearance
