Responsibilities
- Architect quantum circuits and algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and simulation applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise-scale deployment
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate quantum-enhanced machine learning models
- Drive quantum computing standards development through industry consortium participation
- Translate quantum research into patentable IP and commercialization strategies
- Mentor junior researchers and foster cross-functional innovation across departments
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development and quantum circuit design
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience leading technical teams in high-stakes R&D environments
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Knowledge of quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, trapped ions, photonics)
