Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum circuit architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Create hybrid quantum-classical workflows for machine learning optimization
- Lead quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography systems
- Architect scalable quantum processors with >1000 qubit coherence
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and control systems
- Publish research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or algorithm development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record in quantum error correction implementations
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ limitations
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion technologies
- Prior publications in Nature/Science quantum computing research
- Strong background in topological quantum computing theories
