Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for enterprise security solutions
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists in prototype development
- Optimize quantum algorithms for real-world applications in finance and logistics
- Collaborate with academic institutions to publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals
- Maintain compliance with NIST quantum security standards and international regulations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and error correction methodologies
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and classical HPC frameworks
- Strong background in topological quantum computing and fault-tolerant systems
- Demonstrated experience leading complex R&D projects with measurable outcomes
- Published research in quantum computing or cryptography (arXiv/IEEE journals)
- Security clearance eligibility or willingness to obtain government clearance
