Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum circuit architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Create quantum algorithms for cryptography, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical quantum models into deployable solutions
- Establish performance benchmarks and scalability metrics for quantum systems
- Contribute to industry standards for quantum security and interoperability
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing research or development
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum error correction
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Publication record in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience leading technical teams and managing complex R&D projects
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and quantum mechanics
