Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with >1000 qubit coherence
- Develop quantum error correction codes for fault-tolerant operations
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize cryogenic control systems
- Author quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography standards
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum algorithm implementation
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and APS March Meeting
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Computational Science
- 5+ years experience with superconducting qubit architectures
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience with cryogenic quantum measurement systems
- Security clearance eligibility preferred (DoD/NIST collaboration)
