Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead research on quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for 2026-era workloads
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Create quantum algorithms targeting optimization, simulation, and machine learning
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and industry partners
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish breakthrough research
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or industry architecture
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and error correction codes
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in superconducting or photonic qubit systems
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical solutions
