Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 commercial applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Create hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise-level deployment
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic processors)
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience considered)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE, QAOA)
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum hardware
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals or conferences
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel architectures
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
