Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures with error-correction systems
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for enterprise security
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm optimization
- Research and integrate emerging quantum hardware (superconducting, photonic)
- Create performance benchmarks for quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to develop quantum-enhanced machine learning models
- Document architecture specifications and compliance with NIST quantum standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and error correction
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with superconducting quantum processors (IBM, Rigetti)
- Strong background in cryptography and post-quantum security
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Knowledge of quantum machine learning and hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for technical stakeholders
