Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and simulation applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, software engineers, and domain experts
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise clients
- Contribute to open-source quantum software libraries and contribute to IEEE standards
- Present breakthrough findings at international conferences and peer-reviewed journals
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on quantum space communication projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals or conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE, etc.)
- Proficiency in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Experience with quantum hardware providers (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong track record of translating theoretical research into practical applications
