Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological quantum systems
- Lead development of quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computation
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum accelerators into machine learning frameworks
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and drug discovery
- Research and evaluate emerging quantum hardware technologies from global suppliers
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and establish best practices for quantum software development
- Present quantum computing roadmap to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Strong background in superconducting qubit manipulation and cryogenic systems
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures and parallel processing
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
- Security clearance eligibility for handling sensitive quantum research data
