Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems with 1000+ qubit capacity by 2026
- Design error-correction frameworks achieving <10-12 logical error rates
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world optimization problems
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D teams in quantum materials and control systems
- Establish industry partnerships for quantum cloud infrastructure deployment
- Drive patent strategy for quantum hardware innovations
- Mentor quantum engineers in cutting-edge methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years in quantum computing architecture or superconducting systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum computing
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Track record of delivering quantum computing prototypes
- Experience securing $10M+ in quantum research funding
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and post-2026 roadmaps
