Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead quantum system integration with classical HPC infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quantum roadmap
- Research and implement error correction techniques for qubit stability
- Optimize quantum circuits for NISQ-era hardware constraints
- Document quantum system specifications and security protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum processors
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts to practical implementations
