Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error mitigation strategies for near-term quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum circuits
- Lead open-source quantum software development projects
- Publish high-impact research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor junior researchers and quantum computing interns
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients on quantum adoption roadmaps
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information Science
- 3+ years of quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or error correction
- Proficiency in linear algebra and quantum mechanics principles
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong Python/C++ coding skills with scientific computing libraries
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
