Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error-correction architectures for 100+ qubit systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and ML specialists
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for industrial applications
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $5M+ in DoE/NSF grants for quantum research initiatives
- Mentor PhD researchers and patent novel quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with superconducting qubit systems or topological quantum computing
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record leading technical research teams
- Strong background in quantum machine learning or quantum chemistry simulations
