Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead experimental quantum hardware testing and validation processes
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate theoretical models into functional quantum circuits
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to intellectual property development
- Present findings at international quantum computing conferences and industry symposiums
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years postdoctoral research
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum error correction
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and statistical mechanics
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and superconducting qubits
- Demonstrated ability to publish high-impact research in quantum computing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
