Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends and emerging innovations (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026 market positioning
- Develop and implement comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and future market demands
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and product teams to prototype future solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with tech startups, academic institutions, and industry consortiums
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio with rigorous ROI tracking and risk assessment frameworks
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology impacts and industry disruption
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years of experience in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex systems and forecast market disruptions
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across global markets and diverse stakeholder groups
- Published author or frequent speaker at technology conferences (CES, Web Summit, etc.)
- Proficiency in strategic planning tools and data visualization platforms
