Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists in quantum hardware-software integration
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Secure $5M+ in research grants through NSF and DoD quantum initiatives
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Advise Fortune 500 clients on quantum adoption roadmaps for 2026 implementation
- Mentor PhD candidates through our Quantum Innovation Fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years R&D experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and circuit optimization
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in top-tier quantum journals
- Familiarity with quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Experience with superconducting and photonic quantum hardware architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, group theory, and quantum information theory
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into enterprise-ready solutions
