Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to enhance qubit stability and computational fidelity
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives in quantum hardware-software integration
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier scientific journals and conferences
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate theoretical models into practical quantum computing solutions
- Secure and manage research grants from government and private funding sources
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantum computing field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact quantum computing research
- Expertise in at least one specialized quantum domain: quantum error correction, quantum algorithms, or quantum hardware design
- Strong analytical skills with experience in complex mathematical modeling and simulation
