Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze global megatrends impacting 2026+ technology adoption, regulatory shifts, and market disruptions
- Develop evidence-based scenario models for 3-5 year strategic horizons using quantitative/qualitative research
- Lead "Future Labs" with R&D, product, and engineering teams to prototype 2026-viable innovations
- Author executive briefings and trend reports for board-level decision-making
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and futurist communities
- Drive organizational foresight maturity through training and strategic frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and horizon scanning frameworks
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in future studies or innovation domains
