Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to develop quantum error correction protocols and system architectures
- Lead research initiatives in quantum cryptography and secure communication protocols
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and foster an innovative, cross-functional research environment
- Develop quantum software tools and SDKs for external developer ecosystem
- Secure research grants and partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Strong background in quantum information theory and quantum error correction
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in quantum computing
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments and parallel programming
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
